This atmospheric piece with electronic accents was submitted for the Tropscore film The Returning by Amelia Olsen-Boyd. Tropscore is an initiative developed by Tropfest in partnership with APRA AMCOS.
Recorded for Queensland rapper Ghosty MC, HipHopSlippy is a piano sample loop that draws inspiration from 1920s musical tropes. These melodies have been broken down into a funky bridge featuring jazz organ licks.
This recording of the jazz standard by Toots Thielemans features Claudine Michael on piano, Christopher Beecher on bass and Sheridan Morley on drums. Recorded at Q studios, the song consists of bright jazz chords, a smooth bass solo, and some slick beats.
